This weekend was lovely.
I didn't have to work.
I got to read,
(a favorite past-time)
I went thrift shopping,
I made serious house-keeping progress,
and Husband continues to spoil me.
What more can a girl ask for?
Husband surprised me with flowers Saturday
One of my new favorite things
is to make a small vase for my night stand.
It is just so charming!
Finally bought and watched Water for Elephants
(loved it!)
I saw this chair at the thrift store.
I really want it.
It has so much character.
And its $13.
I'm working really hard on self restraint here.
I have no purpose for this chair.

In other news....
here is a conversation from Sunday night:
Scene: Husband is browsing the tv guide
and selects the movie Troy.
Me: Yes! Half naked Brad Pitt? Good choice!
Husband immediately changes the channel
to some movie I've never heard of
with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
Husband: The Rock. Fully clothed!
Lesson learned.
Do not make commentary
when Husband voluntarily
selects a Brad Pitt movie.
