I'm feeling a little blue

as I put together this post. 

I think we all experience things in life

from time to time

that leave us feeling a bit sad. 

Not necessarily life shattering events,

but just enough little things that you get in a bit of a funk.

When this happens, 

I like to focus on things to look forward to.

And right now that includes:

+ Romantic date night with Husband tonight

to hear a good friend sing her heart out

+ Day relaxing in the sunshine this weekend

while Husband practices motocross

+ Possible shopping date on Sunday

with one of my most stylish friends

+ Catching up on chores this weekend,

which leaves me with a sense of calm

when Monday comes

+ My nephew visiting next week

(oh, and he's bringing his parents with him)

((which makes sense since he's only a month old))

+ Another blate next week

with my soon to be new

in real life bloggy friend Shannon

(and of course the lovely Jes)

So Cheers to the Freaking weekend.
