All the Pretty Leaves

One of my favorite parts of the day

is my walk into work in the morning. 

Sure, it's freezing out and I can't feel my fingers,

but the crisp autumn air gives me an excuse

to layer on my cute scarves, jackets, hats, mittens

and other adornments the fashionista in me loves. 

It also gives me a moment to look at all the pretty leaves

still clinging to the tree limbs,

collecting on the ground below,

and generally just beautifying the world around.
