Ankle Pants

The thing about being short,

is pants almost never fit. 

Even the petite pants are sometimes too long.

So the pair I am wearing in this photo?
They required some serious alterations.

I had to short them, 

and then have the taper redone.

It was more work than I was expecting.

If I hadn't gotten these for such a good price,

I don't know if it would have been worth it.

But in the end, 

I still think they are pretty great.

Skinnies that are the right length,

and they have a faux leather finished?

Now I just need a biker jacket.

This outfit was worn for a marathon thrifting trip
with my sister in law.
We were out for close to five hours digging through the racks.
And I finally found a jean jacket!
I've been on the hunt for months so I can make a jean vest.
