Weddings

9.25.2013

Dress/Necklace: JCrew, Purse: Target, Shoes: Coach

I attended my final wedding of the summer a few weekends ago.
It was such an honor to be a part of so many special days.

I bought this dress a few years ago for my bachelorette party,
and since then I have been able to use it at least once a year
to attend a wedding.
I guess that's what they say about 'investment pieces'.
You really do get your money's worth out of them.

Shirt/Necklace: JCrew, Purse: Coach, Pants/Shoes: Target

I bought these jeans about a year ago at Target
thinking I'd be able to wear them with everything,
Well, I don't know what it is,
but I have THE HARDEST TIME finding things to wear these with.
Maybe the wash is too faded?
I don't know.
I always feel like I am trying too hard when I put them on.
Might be time to donate these...

Favorite Things

9.11.2013

Husband surprised me with this for our wedding anniversary,
and although it has yet to make an appearance on the blog,
it has quickly become one of my favorite things.
I just feel so glamorous whenever I put it on.
Thanks Husband! I sure love you :)

Tea Party

8.12.2013

Dress: JCrew, Shoes: Guess, Earrings: Anthro, Bracelets: Maui, Vintage, Target

This may be one of my favorite summer dresses.
The fabric is a gorgeous vibrant blue,
it nips in at the waist, so it has great shape,
and it's not too low cut for the office.
So far I've only worn it twice,
but every time I do I feel lovely.
Like I should be headed to some tea party with peonies and GF cookies.

My Husband Picked This Out

6.05.2013

Shirt: thrifted, Jeans: JCrew (stolen from my sister), Belt: JCrew, Purse: Target, Necklace: Banana Republic

True story:
My husband picked out this outfit.

I kept trying to add a sequin vest or something with sparkle to it,
but he kept insisting I stick to the basics.
All in all I was pretty happy with it!
And it was a good reminder that sometimes less is more.
Although I did manage to sneak in a few neon touches!
