I've been eyeing these necklaces at JCrew for months.

Months I tell you.

They are each like over $100.

And I am not made of cash.

So I continue to just stare at their beauty.

If I had to pick between the two,

I'd go for the first one.

It's gorgeous, and has the word cupcake in it's name.

But they are both so lovely!

Girls Night

Best Friend Brittany and I 

decided that we need a girls night.

So we sent our husbands to go play shuffle board

(I'm still unclear what that is exactly)

and we went shopping.

JCrew bracelets I've added to my wish list.

I want pink, no blue, no pink....oh I can't decide...

I was strangely drawn to this flower at Ann Taylor Loft

But I bought this fur vest instead. 

I've been wanting one all winter

and this was marked down to $20.

After our fun night of shopping,

we went and had dinner,

and then Best Friend Brittany

went home to see her puppy.

She sent me this picture when she got home.

I want a puppy now.

I find myself gravitating 

towards stripes recently.

I've been eyeing this dress 

at anthropologie

for months.

I have a feeling this one

won't be making an appearance 

on the clearance rack anytime soon.

In the meantime,

I'm going to try and recreate  

that first photo this week. 

I Heart JCrew

Like it wasn't already obvious,

but I really adore JCrew.

The thing about them, 

however,

is that it costs a fortune to shop there.

I'm pretty good about finding things

on the clearance rack

but that means I have to wait 

and wait

and wait

for the things I love to make it there.

In essence, 

I spend a lot of time day dreaming

about all the things I'd buy

if I were rich.

Today, that includes these gems:

Sister Hats

I visited JCrew this weekend,

and bought a hat I'm not sure how to wear.
(stay tuned as I work out an outfit for it!)

It's navy wool,

and has bird feathers.

And it only cost nine dollars.

How can you pass that up?

I call this pose, 

try to look like you aren't taking pictures

of yourself in the display mirror,

or else people will think you are crazy.
It's not like the other people in this store
know you have a blog.

Later that day I was describing this hat to my mom,

who said she was about 90% certain 

my sister had bought the same one!

I sent my sister a picture of it,

and turns out we both have the same hat!

Now if that's not a sisterly bond,

I don't know what else is.

Also while at JCrew,

I took note of their seriously cute stuff for spring.

Good thing my birthday is coming up!
